Theo Johnson: doubtful for Sunday with neck injury

THE FACT. Giants tight end Theo Johnson is doubtful for Sunday against the Texans with a neck injury, per the Giants' official Friday injury report. He was limited Wednesday and Thursday and did not practice at all Friday.

THE VERDICT. Doubtful on a final Friday report is a near-certain absence, so treat Johnson as out. Redraft: bench him and stream a replacement. Dynasty: hold, nothing here points to a long-term problem. The Giants' report also lists tight ends Chris Manhertz and Thomas Fidone II without a game status, so one of them absorbs the snaps, but neither is a lineup solution in a week this thin at the position. DFS: fade.
