Terry McLaurin: knee believed to be season-ending, per Rapoport

THE FACT. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday morning that Washington is bracing to learn that McLaurin's left knee injury will end his season, and ProFootballTalk's Josh Alper relayed the same belief Tuesday. The Commanders have not announced a diagnosis. McLaurin was carted off in an air cast in the first quarter of Monday night's loss to San Francisco, and coach Dan Quinn said ahead of Tuesday's scans that the team feared something significant.

THE VERDICT. Treat him as finished for 2026 until Washington says otherwise. Redraft: stash him on IR if your league has the slot, drop him if it does not, and push his target share to Stefon Diggs, who becomes the clear volume play in this offense and belongs in lineups as a WR2. Dynasty: hold rather than panic-sell into a floor price, because a knee injury reported before any team confirmation is the worst possible moment to trade him. DFS: fade the Washington passing game this week until Wednesday and Thursday practice reports show who is actually running the routes.
