Tanner Hudson: expected to miss rest of season

THE FACT. NBC Sports reported Tuesday that the Bengals tight end is expected to miss the rest of the season with a pectoral injury. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor had said Monday, per NFL.com, that Hudson could be placed on injured reserve.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: drop him, there is nothing to stash. Dynasty: same call in any league with a roster crunch. The real question is who absorbs the tight end work in Cincinnati, and no report has named that player yet, so wait for the Week 6 snap counts instead of guessing on a name. Do not spend FAAB on a Bengals tight end until the usage is confirmed.
