Tank Dell: Ryans confirms return Sunday vs. Giants

THE FACT. Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed Monday that wide receiver Tank Dell will play Sunday against the New York Giants, per the team's official site and NFL.com's Kevin Patra. It is Dell's first game since December 2024, when he tore multiple knee ligaments and dislocated his kneecap in a loss to Kansas City; he missed all of 2025. Ryans said Dell has given the defense tough matchups in practice and is still quick as ever.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: do not start him Sunday. Houston has ramped him up slowly and NFL.com reports a limited snap count is expected before the Week 8 bye, which caps the ceiling in a receiver room that also carries Nico Collins, Jaylin Noel and Marvin Harrison Jr. Add him in deeper leagues and let somebody else pay for the name this week. Dynasty: buy if the price reflects two lost seasons, because the talent was never the question. DFS: fade until the snap share is known.
