Tank Dell: cleared to play Sunday against the Giants

THE FACT. Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that wide receiver Tank Dell will play Sunday against the Giants, per NFL.com and NBC Sports. It will be Dell's first game since Week 16 of the 2024 season, when he tore his ACL, MCL and LCL, dislocated his kneecap and damaged his meniscus.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: add him in deeper leagues at 3 to 5 percent FAAB and leave him on your bench in Week 7. Nobody returns from that knee injury into a full route tree in game one, and Houston has no reason to push his snap count. Start him only once the usage is public. Dynasty: buy now. The price still reflects two lost years, and a receiver cleared to play after that list of damage is worth a speculative second-round pick. DFS: fade in Week 7 and revisit when his snap share shows up.
