Talanoa Hufanga: ruled out against Kansas City (ankle)

THE FACT. Denver ruled out safety Talanoa Hufanga for Sunday's game at Kansas City with an ankle injury, per NFL.com's final Week 8 injury report, and NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk carried the same ruling Friday. The same report lists Broncos safety Brandon Jones as questionable with a hamstring injury.

THE VERDICT. IDP: Hufanga is off the board, so move to a safety with a clean designation rather than hoping for a late change. Denver's back end is thin with Brandon Jones also carrying a questionable tag, and that matters in a late-afternoon divisional game. DFS: Chiefs pass-catchers get a small bump in tournament builds. Check Denver's actives before trusting any Broncos defensive back.
