Marvin Mims Jr.: concussion keeps him out Wednesday

THE FACT. Denver receiver Marvin Mims Jr. did not practice Wednesday with a concussion ahead of the Broncos' Week 9 home game against Houston, according to the team's own injury report, which also listed tight end Nate Adkins (knee) as a non-participant. NFL.com listed Mims as a Wednesday DNP as well.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: unstartable until he clears concussion protocol, and a Wednesday DNP with a Sunday kickoff rarely turns around in time to trust. Take him out of flex consideration and fill the spot. DFS: fade. Dynasty: no change, because a concussion is a short-term absence rather than a value event. If you need a Denver pass-catcher this week, wait for Thursday's report rather than guessing at who absorbs the snaps.
