Marcus Mariota: on track to practice with MCL sprain

THE FACT. Mariota, out the last two games with a sprained MCL in his right knee, is on track to return to practice this week, per The Athletic's Nicki Jhabvala. Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Monday he expects Mariota back on the field this week along with Charles Omenihu and Treylon Burks.

THE VERDICT. No redraft value while Jayden Daniels is healthy and starting. Mariota's return matters as insurance, not as a start, so he is a bench stash only in superflex or two-quarterback leagues where you already roster Washington's offense. Dynasty: irrelevant. DFS: no play. The practical read is that Washington's quarterback room is whole again heading into Sunday night against Philadelphia.
