Mansoor Delane: shoulder keeps Chiefs rookie out Thursday

THE FACT. Kansas City added rookie cornerback Mansoor Delane to its Week 8 injury report Thursday as a non-participant with a shoulder injury, per the Chiefs official practice report and NBC Sports' Charean Williams. Williams reported Delane aggravated the shoulder at Wednesday's practice, an issue that also bothered him in training camp and in Week 1.

THE VERDICT. A Thursday absence with one practice left before Denver puts his availability in real doubt. IDP: bench him and start a corner with a clean report rather than guessing on Friday. If he sits, Kansas City covers Denver with the corners it has left, and the same report lists Broncos receiver Jaylen Waddle as limited with a chest injury. No redraft impact, and there is no DFS angle worth paying for here.
