Joe Alt: out against Chiefs with neck injury

THE FACT. Chargers tackle Joe Alt will miss Sunday's game at Kansas City with a neck injury, per the Chargers' Week 6 injury report, and he appears on the inactive list NFL.com posted Sunday.

THE VERDICT. This is an offensive-line absence that matters more than the position suggests. Losing a starting tackle against the Kansas City pass rush compresses the pocket and trims the ceiling for every Chargers passing-game piece in Redraft and DFS. Downgrade their deep-shot upside and prefer the short-area and checkdown options in that offense. Kansas City edge rushers move up in IDP for this one.
