Jeremiyah Love: expected to miss Week 7 vs. Broncos

THE FACT. Love is expected to miss Sunday's game against Denver with the ankle injury that already cost him Week 6, reported Thursday by CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz and carried by NBC Sports and by Sporting News via Yahoo Sports. Arizona has not announced a ruling and may wait until game day. The Cardinals rookie running back did not practice Wednesday, per Arizona Sports.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: sit him and move on for the week. Tyler Allgeier and Bam Knight are in line to split the backfield per Sporting News, which makes both flex-viable and worth claiming now, Allgeier at up to 15% FAAB and Knight at 5%. A split backfield caps either one's ceiling, so start them as floor plays, not as week-winners. DFS: fade both in tournaments, use Allgeier in cash at a cheap price against a Denver front that is banged up at safety and edge. Dynasty: hold Love, this is a short-term ankle issue, not a usage change.
