Jaylen Waddle: helped off with left shoulder injury

THE FACT. Denver wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was helped off and walked to the locker room late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 30-16 win over Arizona, after Cardinals defenders drove him into the ground on a late reverse, per Denver Sports' Jake Shapiro and Broncos beat reporters including the Denver Post's Parker Gabriel. He did not return and finished with four catches for 48 yards. The radio broadcast listed a chest injury while reporters at the game described his left shoulder taking the brunt of the hit.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: this is the second shoulder scare in two weeks for Waddle, who briefly left the Week 6 win over Seattle with the same issue, and Denver hosts Kansas City next. Treat him as questionable until Wednesday's practice report and line up a WR3. Dynasty: hold, one bad landing does not move a player of his caliber. DFS: fade him next week until he practices in full. Denver's other pass catchers pick up targets if he sits.

Different read here. He got hurt late in a game that was already 30-16, which reads as precaution more than diagnosis, and the issue he was limited with last week was listed as a chest problem he still came off the final injury report for. For me the number that matters isn't Wednesday's report, it's a 22 percent target share on only about 68 percent of the snaps. And I'd do the opposite of a DFS fade: a questionable tag against Kansas City is how you get him at single-digit ownership.
