Jay Ward: questionable for Sunday against Detroit (knee)

THE FACT. Minnesota listed safety Jay Ward as questionable for Sunday's game against Detroit with a knee injury, per the Vikings' official Friday injury report and NFL.com's Week 8 report. He was limited in practice Friday after not appearing on the report earlier in the week.

THE VERDICT. Ward is the only Minnesota player carrying a game designation, so the rest of the defense should be available. IDP: treat him as a non-start this week and hold rather than cut in deep tackle leagues. Redraft: no action needed. Check the inactives roughly 90 minutes before kickoff if he is in your lineup.
