Javon Kinlaw: knee makes Sunday against Philadelphia unlikely

THE FACT. Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday that defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw is unlikely to play against Philadelphia on Sunday because of a knee injury, per NFL.com. Quinn did not rule him out outright.
THE VERDICT. Sit him in IDP and do not wait on a Friday upgrade that Quinn has already talked down. Interior defensive linemen are volatile IDP scorers in the best of weeks, and one working through a knee issue against Philadelphia is not a lineup you want to defend. Washington does get some interior help back regardless: Quinn said Wednesday that Jer'Zhan Newton has been designated to return from injured reserve with a pec injury. Kinlaw carries no redraft or dynasty relevance in standard formats.
