Greg Newsome II: Giants rule out cornerback with concussion

THE FACT. New York ruled Newsome out for Sunday against Houston with a concussion after he did not practice Wednesday through Friday, per the Giants' official Week 7 injury report and NBC Sports. Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was ruled out on the same report with a shoulder injury.

THE VERDICT. IDP: move on for this week, and corners without tackle volume are replaceable in most formats anyway. Redraft: the thinner New York corner room is a small point in favor of Houston's receivers. DFS: Tank Dell carries a questionable tag on the Texans report, so if he is confirmed active he becomes a leverage play against a secondary missing a corner and a linebacker. Hold Newsome on IDP benches.
