Erick All: Bengals place tight end on injured reserve

THE FACT. Cincinnati placed tight end Erick All on injured reserve Tuesday after he hurt his knee in Sunday's win over Baltimore, per Pro Football Talk's Josh Alper and Cincinnati's Local 12. The Bengals signed Cam Grandy off Minnesota's practice squad to fill the spot, moved Josh Kattus to the practice-squad injured list and added Caden Prieskorn to the practice squad.
THE VERDICT. All was a real part of this offense before the knee went: three catches for 26 yards Sunday, eight for 56 on the season. Neither report put a number on the absence, but an IR placement ends his fantasy value for a stretch. Redraft: cut him in anything shallower than a deep TE-premium league. Dynasty: hold, because the stash cost is nothing and nobody has called the knee season-ending. Grandy arrives as roster filler rather than a target-earner, so do not spend FAAB chasing the replacement.

Dynasty hold feels too generous here. Rapoport has it as a feared season-ending ACL tear, and if that holds it's the third time that same right knee has gone, Iowa in 2023 and his rookie year in 2024 before this. That's not a free stash to me, that's a roster spot I'd rather give a healthy young body. And the Cincinnati tight end worth actual FAAB isn't Grandy, it's Gesicki. Five scores in six games and the best fantasy points per target of any tight end in the league. He's the one I'm starting.
