THE FACT. The Raiders ruled out receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. for Sunday against Buffalo with a hamstring injury, per the team's official Friday injury report and NFL.com. Defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway (concussion) and tight end Carter Runyon (foot) were also ruled out.

THE VERDICT. Thornton comes off redraft boards this week, and hamstrings tend to linger, so do not burn a bench spot in a 10-team league waiting. The more useful read from the same report: Brock Bowers (knee) and Ashton Jeanty (foot) both appear with no game-status designation, which is the cleanest all-clear you get on a Friday. Start both. DFS: Bowers gets a modest bump with one fewer body in the receiver room.
