DJ Moore: shoulder improved over bye, Week 8 target

THE FACT. Moore said the bye week helped his shoulder "big-time" and that he expects to play Week 8 against Baltimore, per Forbes' Bryan Toporek, who relayed the receiver's Monday radio comments. The Buffalo wideout has not played since leaving the Oct. 4 game against New England, and Athlon Sports' Sahil Goswami reported last week that coach Joe Brady's intent was to have Moore and Ed Oliver back coming out of the break.

THE VERDICT. Treat Wednesday's practice report as the decision point. Redraft: he is a WR3 with flex-plus upside if he is listed as a full participant, and a sit if he is limited for a second straight week. He had 12 catches for 178 yards and a touchdown across parts of four games before the shoulder shut him down, so the pre-injury volume was solid rather than elite and the ceiling in his first game back should be trimmed accordingly. DFS: a mid-priced pivot at most coming off a four-week absence. Dynasty: hold, an AC joint problem is a nuisance rather than a structural one.
