Geno Stone: Bills elevate safety with Gardner-Johnson suspended

THE FACT. Buffalo signed defensive back Te'Cory Couch from the practice squad to the active roster and elevated safety Geno Stone and cornerback A.J. Woods for Sunday's game against Baltimore, per the Bills' official site on Saturday. The team tied Stone's elevation, his first of the season, to C.J. Gardner-Johnson's Week 8 suspension.

THE VERDICT. IDP: Stone is the one to watch here. A suspension-driven elevation at safety usually means real defensive snaps, but Buffalo has not named him a starter, so treat him as a deep-league DB3 flier rather than a lineup piece. Couch's promotion is roster depth, nothing more. Redraft: no impact. DFS: Buffalo's secondary is a man down for this game, which is a small nudge up for Baltimore's pass-catchers.
