Brandon Johnson: Steelers elevate receiver for Browns game

THE FACT. Pittsburgh elevated receiver Brandon Johnson from the practice squad for Sunday's game against Cleveland and signed receiver Brandon Smith to the 53-man roster, per the Steelers' own announcement Saturday. Johnson reverts to the practice squad after the game.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: pass on both. An elevation that expires after one game is a special-teams and emergency-depth move, not a signal of snaps. Waiver Wire: no claim warranted. DFS: fade. Pittsburgh adding receiver bodies on a Saturday is worth filing away as a sign the room is stretched, but it does not change any lineup this week.
