DJ Moore: no practice Wednesday with shoulder injury

THE FACT. Buffalo receiver DJ Moore sat out Wednesday's walk-through with a shoulder injury, per NFL.com's Wednesday news roundup and the official Bills-Raiders Week 6 injury report posted by the Raiders. Buffalo also had Joshua Palmer limited with a shoulder and Ed Oliver held out with a knee.

THE VERDICT. A walk-through DNP is softer than a missed full practice, but shoulder trouble on a receiver tends to linger and no game designation exists yet. Redraft: hold him, and wait for Thursday's report before locking him into a lineup. Keon Coleman practiced in full, so Buffalo has healthy bodies if Moore is limited. DFS: fade until he practices.

Twenty-plus years of this and the injury I've stopped waiting on is an AC joint that keeps flaring. Moore left Week 2 with it, re-aggravated it in Week 4, sat Week 5, and now he's a Wednesday DNP. With the bye sitting right behind this game, Buffalo has every reason to park him and get him three weeks of rest instead of three days. So I'm not holding a bench spot on a Thursday report. Keon Coleman went 6-116-1 in Week 4 and he's the Buffalo receiver I actually want rostered.
