DeVonta Smith: no practice Wednesday as hamstring lingers

THE FACT. Philadelphia listed Smith as a non-participant with a hamstring injury on Wednesday's estimated Week 8 report, per the Eagles' own injury report, and NBC Sports Philadelphia's Dave Zangaro noted Smith already sat out Monday night against Dallas with the same issue. The Eagles held only a walkthrough to open a short week before Sunday night at Washington.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: sit Smith until he does something in drills Thursday or Friday. A walkthrough absence is softer evidence than a missed full practice, but this is the same hamstring that has already cost him games, and the Eagles' report also has Britain Covey (knee) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) down as non-participants. Dynasty: hold, this is a soft-tissue nuisance and nothing more. DFS: fade him in all formats until Friday's designation lands.
