Christian Watson: cleared at hospital, returns in third quarter

THE FACT. Packers receiver Christian Watson was taken by ambulance to a Green Bay-area hospital Thursday night after a chest injury on a 53-yard catch in the second quarter against Carolina, cleared medical testing there and returned to the game with 4:01 left in the third quarter, per Yahoo Sports' Jason Owens. NBC Sports' Charean Williams had reported he was cleared and heading back to Lambeau Field, citing Amazon Prime's Kaylee Hartung.

THE VERDICT. A scare that ended about as well as one can. Redraft: he stays in your lineup next week unless Green Bay attaches a designation to the chest, because a player cleared to return the same night is not a candidate for a long absence. Dynasty: no change. DFS: playable, and the ambulance footage may push his ownership down, which is where the edge sits. Check the Packers' first injury report of next week for a chest listing before you lock him in.
