Charles Omenihu: Commanders expect him back at practice

THE FACT. Washington expects defensive lineman Charles Omenihu to return to practice this week after a groin injury, head coach Dan Quinn said Monday, per NFL.com's Monday news roundup. Commanders On SI's Philip Hughes reported the same and noted Omenihu had missed games against the Giants and 49ers.
THE VERDICT. Returning to practice is not the same as being cleared to play, and Quinn framed it that way himself. IDP: stash Omenihu now if you have the bench room, because an edge rusher coming back from a soft-tissue injury is cheap sack upside, but do not start him until Washington puts a designation next to his name on Friday. Redraft: no offensive impact. DFS: wait for a full practice.
