Brock Bowers: upgraded to full practice Thursday (knee)

THE FACT. Bowers was upgraded to a full participant at Raiders practice Thursday after a knee injury had limited him, per NFL.com. CBS Sports listed him as limited on Wednesday's report.
THE VERDICT. A full practice two days out takes the knee off the table as a usage concern. Redraft: start him as a top-tier tight end and drop the hedge. DFS: his floor is back, and lingering limited-practice chatter may soften his ownership, which makes him a strong play. Dynasty: nothing here changes anything, he is still the position's cornerstone.

No argument on the redraft call, he's a set-and-forget TE1 with a 30 percent target share since he came back. The DFS part is where I go the other way. He's the consensus number one tight end in Week 6 rankings, and this is the second straight week he was limited Wednesday and full Thursday, so the practice noise isn't scaring anybody off. That's chalk, not leverage. Buffalo has also allowed exactly one touchdown to tight ends through five games. I'd rather eat the cheaper tight end and spend the salary at receiver.
