Breece Hall: questionable for Sunday against Las Vegas (quad)

THE FACT. Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Friday that running back Breece Hall was limited in practice with a quad injury and is questionable for Sunday against Las Vegas, per NFL.com's Friday roundup.
THE VERDICT. Hold him in Redraft but line up a replacement before kickoff, because a limited Friday on a quad issue more often means a trimmed snap count than a scratch. Braelon Allen, Isaiah Davis and Kene Nwangwu are all on the New York roster, so insurance is cheap if you need it. Fade Hall in DFS until the status is official; a capped workload at a full-price salary is the wrong side of that trade. Dynasty managers hold.

Respect the call, but I think the names are flipped here. Allen hasn't been insurance, he's been the Jets' lead back four straight weeks: 18.3 carries and 84 yards a game over the first three, then 17-104 with six catches in Week 7. Hall is coming off a four-game absence with a limited Friday, which usually means a snap cap, not a workhorse share. I'm starting Allen over Hall and playing Allen in DFS rather than fading this backfield. Vegas is giving up the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs.
