Breece Hall: limited at Wednesday practice, Raiders return possible

THE FACT. Breece Hall was limited in the Jets' Wednesday practice with a quadriceps injury, per NBC Sports, with head coach Aaron Glenn confirming the designation to reporters including The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt. Hall has missed the last four games and could play Sunday against the Raiders if he upgrades to a full practice later in the week.
THE VERDICT. Limited on Wednesday is the right first step and puts a Week 8 return genuinely in play, but do not pencil him in as a starter until he practices fully. Braelon Allen has averaged 105.3 scrimmage yards per game over the last four weeks and is working through an ankle issue of his own, so expect a split rather than a clean handoff back to Hall. In redraft, Hall is a flex with upside if active while Allen stays the safer start. Hold in dynasty, because the touches come back.
