Tre'Davious White: Bills bring him back on practice-squad deal

THE FACT. Cornerback Tre'Davious White is signing with the Buffalo practice squad and is expected to be promoted to the active roster once he is up to speed, his agents told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday, as reported by NBC Sports. NFL.com listed the signing in its Monday league roundup alongside the release of cornerback A.J. Woods from the practice squad.

THE VERDICT. White started 16 regular-season games and both playoff games for Buffalo last season, so this is a rotation piece coming back rather than a camp body, and it lands the same day the league suspended safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson one game. Redraft: no action, practice-squad corners cannot be deployed. IDP: watch list only, and do not spend a bench spot until the active-roster promotion is official. Dynasty: pass on a short-term depth signing.
