THE FACT. The Jets put nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat on injured reserve Saturday with a knee injury, per NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk. Pro Football Rumors, citing analyst Will Parkinson, reported Sweat is expected back later this season and that New York signed defensive tackle Payton Page off the practice squad, with tackle Brant Banks and edge Quinton Bell elevated for Sunday.

THE VERDICT. Sweat was already ruled out for Sunday, so the IR designation mostly moves the timeline: he is off IDP lineups for at least four weeks. IDP: stash only if you have deep bench or IR slots, because interior linemen with his tackle profile are replaceable on waivers. Dynasty managers hold given the in-season return. The knock-on effect matters more than the loss itself, since a Jets front without Sweat is easier to run against, nudging Las Vegas backs up in Redraft and DFS.
