THE FACT. The Colts have agreed to trade All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick, first reported Tuesday by ESPN's Adam Schefter, with the pick compensation reported separately, per CBS Sports and Pro Football Talk. Neither club had announced the deal, and both outlets described it as reported rather than official. Indianapolis is 2-5, recently fired general manager Chris Ballard, and faces a Nov. 10 trade deadline.

THE VERDICT. This is the first domino in a Colts sell-off, and that is the fantasy story rather than the guard himself. Redraft: Indianapolis just got worse at run blocking, so trim your expectations for the Colts ground game, while Seattle adds an All-Pro interior blocker for a title defense. Dynasty: sell Colts pieces into the news. Pro Football Talk reported Sunday that Jonathan Taylor, DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart are also candidates to move before the deadline, and listed Seattle, Denver, Minnesota and Green Bay as teams that have considered a Taylor deal. DFS: no direct play, but revisit the Seattle run game once Nelson is installed.
