Paulson Adebo: activated off injured reserve for Texans game

THE FACT. The Giants activated cornerback Paulson Adebo from injured reserve on Saturday ahead of their Week 7 game against Houston, per the team's own announcement and NFL.com's roundup. The Giants' site also listed linebacker Tremaine Edmunds going on injured reserve in the same set of moves, and says Adebo had been on IR since Week 2 with a knee injury.
THE VERDICT. IDP: Adebo is a volume corner worth rostering in formats that reward solo tackles and passes defensed, but a first week back from a long absence is usually a snap-count question, so hold rather than force him into a starting spot. Redraft: no impact. The sharper read is on the other side of the ball: New York gets a real starter back in the secondary while Jevon Holland sits with a concussion, which takes some shine off stacking Houston's passing game. Survivor: not a factor.
