THE FACT. The Chargers released veteran receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on Saturday, according to the team's own transaction announcement, and NFL.com's Saturday roundup listed the same move. Los Angeles made the cut as the corresponding move to activating WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: drop him in every format, he was a deep-league dart throw at best and is now a free agent with no offense attached. Dynasty: zero value, cut him for anyone with a pulse. The actionable piece here is Lambert-Smith, who is back on the active roster for a winless Chargers team that has been shuffling its receiver group all month. He is a watch-list name, not an add, until we see the target share. DFS: fade the back end of this receiver room until the pecking order settles.
