Makai Lemon: seven catches, 67 yards and a touchdown

THE FACT. Lemon caught seven of eight targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in Philadelphia's Monday night loss to Dallas, per NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk game recap and a Rotoworld player note dated Tuesday that called it his breakout game.
THE VERDICT. Waiver Wire: add now, 8% FAAB. The eight targets matter more than the yardage, and he drew them with DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) both out. Redraft: flex him in Week 8 if either receiver is still sidelined, bench him if both clear. Dynasty: worth a cheap stash, with the caveat that you are betting the target share survives a healthy receiver room.

Different read on the bench-him-if-both-clear part. Lemon ran 89.6 percent of the routes in Week 6 against Carolina with Smith active, and he is around a 72 percent snap share on the season. The job was already his before anyone got hurt. Monday was just the first week the catches landed. He went from 4.5 yards per target through six games to eight-for-67 and his first score. That is efficiency showing up on a role he already had, so I would pay closer to 15 percent and keep him in the lineup when Smith is back. Rookie slot guys with a full-time route share do not go back to the bench.
