Cody Schrader: Broncos elevate running back for Chiefs game

THE FACT. Denver elevated running back Cody Schrader from the practice squad for Sunday at Kansas City, announced Saturday on the team's site and reported by the Denver Gazette's Chris Tomasson. RJ Harvey went to injured reserve in the same round of moves, and the Broncos note Schrader could make his regular-season debut for them.

THE VERDICT. Harvey has to miss at least the next four games by the team's own accounting, so Denver needed bodies. Waiver Wire: monitor, do not spend, because an elevated back with no stated role is a Sunday-morning decision and not a Saturday FAAB bid. Redraft: Jonah Coleman is the Denver back to prioritize after NFL.com reported he led the backfield in snaps in Week 7. DFS: fade Schrader. Dynasty: no action.
