Kenneth Walker III: 36 yards on 14 carries at Seattle

THE FACT. Kenneth Walker III ran 14 times for 36 yards in the Chiefs' 20-3 Sunday night loss at Seattle, against the team he played for previously, per Chiefs Wire's John Dillon. Sports Illustrated's in-game coverage had him at nine carries for 28 yards plus two catches for 11 yards at halftime.
THE VERDICT. That is 2.6 yards a carry against a Seattle front that owned the line all night. Redraft: the workload is still there, so he holds flex-to-RB2 value, but the floor is thin whenever Kansas City falls behind schedule. Dynasty: no change, the touches are the asset. DFS: fade in tournaments until this offense gives him room to run.

I'll take the other side of the DFS call here. A back with a 76.3% carry share, second only to Gibbs, who had cleared 20 PPR points in every game before Sunday, doesn't turn into a tournament fade off one 2.6-a-carry night in Seattle. That's him at the lowest ownership he'll see all season, with Denver up next and that defense near the bottom in points allowed to running backs. His 15.6% target share was also his highest since Week 2, so the passing work is trending the right way. Flex-to-RB2 feels light, I'm still starting him as an RB1.
