Jarvis Brownlee Jr.: surprise healthy inactive against Dolphins

THE FACT. Jets slot cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. is inactive against Miami on Sunday and was not on the injury report, making it a healthy scratch, per ESPN's Rich Cimini by way of Heavy.com and NFL.com's Week 7 inactive list. Cimini reported rookie D'Angelo Ponds is expected to take the nickel role.

THE VERDICT. IDP: drop him in any league where you were rostering him, because a healthy scratch after three starts is a role change rather than a rest day. Ponds is the speculative add if you need corner volume. DFS: Miami's slot receivers are the cheap angle against a rookie taking over inside.
