Jarquez Hunter: Dolphins release running back from practice squad

THE FACT. The Dolphins released running back Jarquez Hunter from the practice squad Tuesday, per the team's own announcement and NFL.com's Tuesday roundup. Miami had traded for him on August 27, a deal that Dolphins Wire's Mike Masala reported sent receiver Tutu Atwell to the Rams, and Masala noted Hunter never got a touch as a rookie after going in the fourth round in 2025.

THE VERDICT. Cut him loose in Dynasty. A 2025 fourth-rounder who was traded once and then released off a practice squad without a single carry has no path worth a bench spot. Redraft and DFS: ignore. Set an alert for a claim elsewhere, because a new room is the only thing that makes him relevant again.
