James Cook: Brady warns carries could decrease over fumbles

THE FACT. Bills head coach Joe Brady said Tuesday that Cook's carry count will shrink if his ball security does not improve, per NFL.com and Yahoo Sports, after Cook put two fumbles on the ground in Monday night's overtime win over the Rams. That gives him four fumbles in five games, the most in the league among non-quarterbacks.
THE VERDICT. This is a warning, not a demotion. Cook is third in the NFL in rushing with 532 yards on 95 carries and five scores, and Buffalo has nobody behind him: Ray Davis has four carries all season and Ty Johnson has one. Redraft: keep starting him. DFS: headline risk may soften his price, which makes him a value rather than a fade. Revisit only if another fumble shows up in Week 6.
