Jalen Ramsey: upgraded to limited Thursday with wrist

THE FACT. Jalen Ramsey was upgraded to limited participation at Thursday's Steelers practice with a wrist injury, per NFL.com and the team's official injury report, after sitting out Wednesday entirely.
THE VERDICT. The upgrade is the story. Going from no practice to limited on a Thursday usually means a player is tracking toward Sunday. IDP: hold him and plan to start if he practices Friday, though a wrist issue can cut into ball production. Redraft: Steelers opponents get no clear break here. Watch the Friday designation before locking lineups for the Paris game.

Reading this one differently. Ramsey has been playing on a broken wrist since late September and keeps suiting up, so the Friday designation isn't going to tell me much. He put up 10 tackles and two sacks in Tampa and took AFC Defensive Player of the Week for it. That's a lock-it-in start, not a hold-and-see. And the ball-production worry is backwards: he had zero picks and two passes defensed through six games before the wrist ever mattered. His IDP value is tackles and blitz snaps, and the wrist doesn't touch either one.
