Jakobi Meyers: questionable after no practice Friday (hamstring)

THE FACT. Jacksonville listed wide receiver Jakobi Meyers as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts with hamstring and ankle injuries, and he did not practice Friday, according to CBS Sports and NFL.com's final Week 8 injury report. Jacksonville also ruled out safety Antonio Johnson with an ankle injury.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: a Friday non-participant carrying a questionable tag is a coin flip, so line up a replacement now instead of at kickoff. CBS Sports notes Brian Thomas, Josh Cameron and Travis Hunter would see larger roles behind Parker Washington if Meyers sits, which makes the Jacksonville passing game hard to predict. Dynasty: hold, this is a soft-tissue absence and not a role change. DFS: fade Meyers and look at the cheaper Jaguars receivers once actives are out.

Respectfully, the coin-flip framing gives him too much credit. Even healthy he has barely moved the needle: three or fewer catches and under 40 yards in four of his first five games, and his season best was 5-of-10 for 83 in the Houston loss. FantasyPros has him around WR36 this week. He is not a tough call, he is a sit whether or not he suits up. What I would really avoid is the cheap Jags dart in DFS. That pecking order behind Parker Washington moves every week, and guessing it with a 1pm lock is how you torch a lineup.
