Jadarian Price: 21-day practice window opens this week

THE FACT. The Seahawks will open rookie running back Jadarian Price's 21-day practice window this week, coach Mike Macdonald said Monday, per Pro Football Rumors and Yahoo Sports. Price, a first-round pick, has been on injured reserve with a chest injury since early October and has missed four games. Macdonald gave no word on whether Price will play Monday night against Chicago, and Seattle must activate him inside the 21 days or he reverts to season-ending injured reserve.

THE VERDICT. Add him now where bench space is cheap. Seattle's backfield has no settled answer behind the starter, with Zach Charbonnet still uncommitted for Week 8, and a first-round rookie with a three-week activation clock has a real path to touches before the fantasy playoffs. Redraft: speculative add, 5% FAAB, and nothing more until he practices in full. Dynasty: buy now, before the practice reports price him up. No DFS play until he is activated.
