Gregory Desrosiers: Giants sign rookie back to roster

THE FACT. New York signed undrafted rookie running back Gregory Desrosiers to the active roster from the Chargers' practice squad on Tuesday, per the Giants' official site, the same day Tyrone Tracy Jr. went on injured reserve with a hamstring injury suffered in the overtime win at Houston. General manager Joe Schoen said Tracy's injury will not be long-term.
THE VERDICT. Desrosiers has never played an NFL game and the Giants are on their Week 8 bye, so there is nothing to start. Redraft: no add. The backfield still runs through Cam Skattebo, who ran for a career-high 124 yards against Houston, with Devin Singletary scoring the overtime winner, and that is where your roster spots belong. Dynasty: a watch-list name only, on the strength of 791 yards and 10 scores at Memphis.
