Dont'e Thornton Jr.: will not be activated off IR this weekend

THE FACT. Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said Friday that wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. will not be activated from injured reserve for this weekend, per NFL.com. Thornton has been sidelined by a hamstring injury, and NBC Sports reported on Oct. 16 that Kubiak called him closer to a return without attaching a date to it.

THE VERDICT. Hold off. Redraft: no add, and he is droppable in shallow leagues where bench space is tight. Dynasty: hold through the injury rather than selling into it. DFS: unplayable. The tell will be a practice window opening next week, and until that happens Las Vegas keeps rolling with the receivers already active.
