C.J. Gardner-Johnson: ejected against Raiders for apparent spitting

THE FACT. Buffalo's C.J. Gardner-Johnson was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Raiders for unsportsmanlike conduct, after he appeared to spit in the direction of Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and a group of offensive linemen, per NBC Sports and Yahoo Sports. No league discipline had been announced as of Sunday night.
THE VERDICT. IDP managers lost a starter before halftime and should plan on a fine, with a suspension genuinely in play. Do not wait on the league office: look at Buffalo's replacement in the secondary now, before Week 7 lineups lock. Redraft: he has no standing value in most formats, so this is an IDP-only problem. IDP: treat him as week-to-week on discipline risk rather than injury, and have a bench body ready.
