A.J. Brown: leaves Patriots opener with ankle injury, no update

THE FACT. Brown went down early in the third quarter of Wednesday night's 13-10 Kickoff Game loss to Seattle when a Seahawks defender landed on his right ankle on a low throw from Drake Maye, per NFL.com's Grant Gordon. He did not return, finishing with three catches for 26 yards, and Mike Vrabel offered no update on him after the game.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: hold, but do not wait on New England for clarity. Grab the best available Patriots pass catcher and a WR3-level insurance piece before your waivers run. Dynasty: nothing changes on a one-game sample; buy if a nervous owner discounts him. DFS: fade in any early Week 2 slate builds until he practices in full.
