THE FACT. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported Thursday morning that the ankle injury A.J. Brown suffered in the third quarter of Wednesday night's loss to Seattle is believed to be a high-ankle sprain. X-rays were negative and the Patriots have scheduled an MRI for Monday to determine how long he will be out, per CBS Boston.

THE VERDICT. High-ankle sprains cost receivers a minimum of two to four weeks even in the best case, and the Monday MRI means New England will not have a real answer before the Week 2 waiver run. Redraft: hold Brown, but treat him as out for Week 2 and grab a bridge WR3 now. Dynasty: this is a buy window if his manager panics, because the injury is not structural and he has a top-10 target share when healthy. DFS: fade every Patriots receiver until the target tree without Brown shows up on tape.
