Saquon Barkley: Eagles will not trade him before deadline

THE FACT. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that the Eagles will not trade Saquon Barkley before next week's trade deadline, per NBC Sports.

THE VERDICT. This closes a storyline that was never going to end any other way. Redraft: hold and start, with his usage tied to Philadelphia's game script rather than any roster uncertainty. Dynasty: no change to his value, and no reason to sell into deadline panic. If a leaguemate was angling for a discount on trade noise, that leverage is gone.
