Roquan Smith: hyperextended knee, returned in fourth quarter

THE FACT. Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith hyperextended his right knee making a tackle in Sunday's loss to the Bengals, per the Cincinnati Enquirer's Dave Clark, who noted the broadcast crew flagged the mechanism live. Baltimore listed him questionable to return, and he was back on the field in the fourth quarter. Teddye Buchanan handled the snaps while Smith was out.
THE VERDICT. A knee that lets a player back into the same game is not the kind that wipes out a week. IDP: hold Smith and plan on starting him in Week 8 unless Baltimore limits him in practice. Buchanan is worth a bookmark in deep IDP leagues, not a roster spot yet. Redraft and Dynasty managers have nothing to act on here.
