Omar Cooper Jr.: Jets place rookie WR on IR (ankle)

THE FACT. The Jets moved first-round rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. to injured reserve on Saturday, Sept. 19, with the high ankle sprain he picked up in his Week 1 debut against Tennessee, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt reported the team expects Cooper back once the minimum four-game IR stint is served.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: in shallow leagues he is a drop if you need the bench spot; in deeper leagues park him in an IR slot and move on. Dynasty: buy the dip, nothing about a four-week ankle changes his long-term profile. DFS: the vacated targets get spread across the Jets receiver room, so there is no clean value play to chase here.
