Cowboys: DeMarvion Overshown and Malik Hooker ruled out vs. Commanders

THE FACT. Dallas listed linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) and safety Malik Hooker (fractured forearm) as out for Sunday's game against Washington on Friday's final injury report, per SB Nation via Yahoo Sports. The Cowboys' official site reported Thursday that Overshown is expected to miss one to two weeks and Hooker is set for forearm surgery.

THE VERDICT. IDP: Overshown's tackle volume has to go somewhere, and Brian Schottenheimer called Dee Winters the most experienced of the remaining linebackers, so add Winters as an LB3 streamer this week; Jaishawn Barham is a deeper dynasty stash after earning snaps in Week 1. Drop Hooker in shallow IDP leagues given the surgery. DFS: bump Washington's passing game and tight ends against a Dallas defense missing its signal-caller and a starting safety.
